Donna Dalzell

Donna started her Veterinary Nursing career in 2017 studying online while working in a general practice veterinary hospital in Western Sydney. 

Most of Donna’s extensive experience and knowledge comes from her time working at the specialist and emergency veterinary hospital, SASH at North Ryde. There she was fortunate enough to work in several departments including Emergency and Critical care, Surgery, Radiology, Exotics, Internal medicine, and ophthalmology- just to name a few.

Donna has been working hard to complete her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing during this time and is aiming to complete this by the end of the year. Donna takes pride in extending her knowledge and has previously completed her Certificate III in animal studies, Certificate in RICC – Rescue & Immediate Care Wires and her Certificate IV in Professional Practice Management. 

Donna is an integral part of Parramatta Veterinary Hospital as our senior nurse. She has a keen interest in cases that involve medicine, soft tissue surgeries, pathology, and post-operative care. She is a strong advocate for patients and is often seen supporting patient’s post-surgery with the aim for a quick and smooth recovery.

When Donna is not at work, she spends majority of her time with her friends and young family on various outings ranging from picnics to watching the latest release at the cinema. Donna has two gorgeous domestic short hair cats at home named Teddy and Gizzy,
